A teenage motorist who authorities pronounced fled a deadly hit-and-run pile-up Wednesday nearby Willow Spring has been charged with transgression strike and run, misconduct genocide by car and inebriated driving, according to authorities.
Cody Lee Thomas, 16, of 3012 Cotton Road, Raleigh, is in the Wake County Jail this sunrise on $10,000 bond.
The plant in the pile-up was identified by the state Highway Patrol currently as Tania Jane Bell, 41, of 725 Colonial Drive, Raleigh.

Investigators think the Cadillac ran off the side of the road. When the motorist attempted to drive the car behind onto the road, he assumingly overcorrected, crossed the core line and crashed head-on in to the Mazda.
